Knee high boots.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm in no way saying that am good in the area of fashion. But ladies,,,what is up with the pants tucked into the knee high boots? Are you trying to look like a guard for Buckingham Palace? I saw a woman yesterday with her jeans tucked into her knee high FURRY brown boots. Did I mention that they were FURRY. It looked like she had taken two small woodland creatures and fashioned them into boots. The funny thing is when she got ready that morning she looked in the mirror and said, "yep, this looks great!" The only thing that could of saved her outfit was a Davey Crockett raccoon hat. It still would of looked ridiculous, but it would at least given the boots some context.

Now in her defense this is coming from a guy who wears jeans, tennis shoes, and iron man t-shirts. I know I am not working for Vogue magazine or anything, but I would like to think that when I look in the mirror, I can tell if I look like a douche or not.

I am not saying that knee high boots are all that bad. They have great uses. For example the following uses are acceptable for the wearing of knee high boots. (for both men and woman)

Playing Polo

Being an Evil dictator

Cleaning up radioactive material

And last but not least, Being a pirate. Which, lets face it, is the coolest reason to wear knee high boots in the first place.

  1. what about with a skirt?? so that the legs are covered up without having to wear pants... just a thought, I have never been into the jeans tucked into pants look but I know some people who live for it.

  2. With a skirt is fine. I am only talking about when the boots are outside the pants. With a skirt, knee high boots are a plus.
